Track Brief

Guess who chose Viscom!!!??
Have now finished the first official VisCom brief - Track
Teamed up with Nat, and we made an animation in response to the music playlist we were given.
We chose Perpetuum Mobile by the Penguin Cafe Orchestra (pretty song but am now a little sick of it after listening on repeat for two weeks...)
Our animation was stop-motion 5fps, and we hand-drew each penguin for every frame and then had to cut them out by hand because we haven't got laser cutters. It hurt. I'm really good at drawing penguins now though! Loved Nat's set building too!!

Animation is here

Type Brief

Now I'm too torn between 3D and VisCom after the Viscom taster week of playing with typography which is incredibly fun, and complex. (I ran out of ideas way quicker than I'd like)
My favourite concept was "Strip" - go figure...

Light Brief

3D taster week! One of my favourites because we got to play with light!!
I enjoyed designing ALL THE THINGS! Couldn't make them all but that is besides the point...

Had a VisCom Pathway taster brief - in which we played with words and book pages
I chose one of my favourite books When God Was A Rabbit :)

Group Think Brief

We had a Group Think project - I worked with two other students and we based our project on the phrase "A little rebellion now and then is a good thing". We had a bit of a 'production line' concept, creating multiple identical objects, until one dramatically rebellious object appears.
